2.3.2.2 Init Tightening Angle

The Init Tightening Angle parameter defines the angle (in degrees) at which the screw is considered "seated" — meaning it has reached its final position before actual tightening begins.

In practice, this means:

  • Before reaching this angle, the screw is simply being positioned or inserted.

  • After reaching this angle, the system considers the screw ready for tightening, and any further rotation will count toward applying torque (especially if a torque wrench is used).

This allows for more realistic simulation, where a screw first needs to be fully inserted before it can be properly tightened.
