4.3.2.1 Target nail distance

The “Target Nail Distance” parameter defines how far a nail can move into the material as a result of hammer strikes.

  • It sets the maximum driving depth the nail can reach – that is, the distance the nail can travel from its starting position toward the final target position through repeated hammer hits.

  • Once the nail has moved this full distance, it is considered fully driven in, and further hammering will no longer have an effect.
