The “Initial Nail Distance” parameter in URealXR defines the starting position of a nail relative to its fully driven-in state.
It determines how far the nail initially protrudes from the surface before any hammer interaction takes place.
This value is typically given in centimeters or Unreal units.
The nail will visually and physically appear offset by this distance from its final "fully inserted" position.
Example:
Initial Nail Distance = 3 cm:
→ The nail starts 3 cm out from the final target position. It must be driven in (via hammering) to reduce this distance to 0 cm.
